Reputation Communications

Overview

Shannon Wilkinson began her career in cultural affairs. After her client base expanded to include business and financial executives, she became involved in providing reputation management services for hedge fund owners, professionals in the financial industry and others.  As more clients began requesting services for reputation management, Shannon recognized an opportunity create a reputation management firm.

In 2009, Reputation Communications was strategically conceived to monitor, improve and maintain client information publicity available online. Shannon turned to Transition Networks to define and design the brand image for Reputation Communications.

Challenges
The challenges including creating a new brand and establishing a unique and memorable brand experience that set Reputation Communications apart from the competition.

Solutions
Reputation Communications required a complete identity program that reinforced the brand across every client touchpoint.  The components included corporate logo, brand identity system, persuasive website, print ads, and an eNewsletter banner template.

  • Logo Design - The logo design is a typographical, photographical treatment that incorporates a distinctive, original graphic.  A gray “glif” combines a small letter “r” with a parenthesis mark, creating a unique impression when combined with the blue typological treatment of the company name.
  • Market Position Tag:  Specializing in Reputation Management is a white text treatment contained within a field of orange.  It is juxtaposed over the photographic movement with the company name.  Together these elements create a distinctly unique personality.
  • Business Identity System – Letterhead, envelopes, business cards.
  • Microsite Website – A small, compact, succinct website was required to effectively communicate the business “voice” and provide competitive market positioning and engage new clients.
  • Image Style – The unique photographic storyline was important aspect in image styling in speaking directly to Shannon’s client base. Three flash animated images create the illusion of watching people in motion as the primary website experience. The photographic storyline is carried through to the Enewsletter.
  • Enews Banner – Reputation Issues, News and Insight about Reputation Management, is a strongly branded template for the Monthly e-Newsletter.  It is a tool to carry through the brand identity to every touch point.
  • Advertising: Branded corporate responsibility carries through with well-placed ads for Boy Scout and Marine Charity Programs.
