The Luxury Marketing Council is a by-invitation-only private membership organization serving some 500 of the world’s most prominent luxury brands. The Council is comprised of 1,500 CEO’S and executive marketers from major purveyors of luxury goods and services who market to targeted, affluent customers worldwide. Transition Networks, the strategic design and marketing firm joined The Council in 1997 and retained its membership through 2007. After a decade of designing and marketing luxury brands, Transition Networks is acknowledged as the consummate luxury brand strategist in the vertical.
Challenge
Upgrade the old static website from 1998 to a perfectly branded global interactive membership community for the world’s most prominent luxury brands. Design the site as a primary information resource, growth driver and marketing tool with dynamic content publishing, event calendar, WebTV programming, and member promotion features.
Solution
Transition Networks, wrote the global online strategy for The Luxury Marketing Council and designed and deployed one of the first Web 2.0 interconnected communities...certainly the first in the luxury marketplace. Together with GLOSCON, the top Open Source technology and engineering company, Transition Networks integrated all facets of the business, community and digital media with custom graphics and sound branding innovations. As a result, the new site leveraged communications across all chapters worldwide and provided tools for information sharing through multilingual site templates.
