Mary Olson has been one of the Top Women to Watch on the Web since 1995. Olson pioneered multimedia advertising for Ogilvy & Mather in the early 90’s and held senior positions in large ad agencies for a diversity of industries.
In 1995, Mary led the design and technology teams to create Country.com targeting the largest U.S. mass market. Country.com was ranked third in size after CNN and Yahoo. This popular site and was the first online community for passionate fans of country music and NASCAR. In 1997, Mary joined The Luxury Marketing Council as a member of the executive committee. After a decade of developing online luxury brands, she became the consummate luxury brand strategist in the vertical. Transition Networks' defined the affluent user-experience.
Steuben.com was the great American retail brand that launched Transition Networks, and since then, Transition Networks has consistently delivered intelligent design, business analysis, project management and technological advancements to drive new revenue and brand awareness for its clients.

Mary devised the Web 2.0 strategy for The Women’s Leadership Exchange. The organization of 60,000 women business leaders. The strategic goal would transform the traditional live event busines to an online integrated network--a place for sponsors and members to communicate, generate brand awareness and business opportunities, and create new revenues.
In 2007, Mary co-founded OPEN FUSE, the creative music company at the forefront of sound branding and sonic signatures. Open Fuse created original music to strengthen emotional bonds between brands and customers. The talented composures brough a greater dimension to graphic identity by elevating the brand experience.
The firm has carefully balanced the luxury side of the business with social responsibility and environmental health causes.
Transition Networks also designed logos and business identity systems, websites, collateral materials for the Clair Boothe Luce Foundation (Women in Engineering; Glass Roots (Teaching under-privileged inner city students graphic design and glass blowing skills). They produced a prodigious amount of design and branding for Olyset Net--now the globally recognized environmental health brand managed by Sumitomo Chemical.
